This is the second time I've stayed in this property and it is in a great location and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

I have rented in The Villages for several years, mostly through private owners/hosts. IMO, the rental was below average standards for The Villages. The floors were not cleaned properly - there were piles of hair/dust in the corners behind doors and the sheets on the back bedroom - including quilt did not appear to have been laundered. There should have been a better map of the area, showing pools, etc. There was one but you could barely read it. Other very small touches could have made the experience much better, i.e., instructions for working the TV, the option upon renting to have your ids ready at the recreation center (other owners do this for a fee). In addition, I have never been asked to strip beds and start laundry before leaving a home rental. There also should have been a trash can in the garage and extra garbage bags for the guests - the only garbage bag was the one in the kitchen trash upon arrival. Lastly, the rental company called me on Saturday morning, likely because they received a call from Villages security that the garage door was open around 2:00am Saturday morning - we had a flight out of Orlando at 6am and were packing our cars to head for the airport. I called back the number that left me the message by 10am on Saturday morning but never received a call back.

The entire experience was great! The communications prior to arrival was easy and the amenities were beyond my expectations. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay and then some.

I would highly recommend this rental. Great location with plenty of room for our family. I would definitely rent this location for our next visit. Thanks.

Trouble free, great communication and I would recommend

The property is in a great location...... Close to both Lake Sumter and Spanish Springs town Squares .... Easy to get to by the convenient gas golf cart. Many recreational centres and lots of golf courses and restaurants. The home is very roomy and extremely comfortable beds ,couch and large shower. The homebase people are wonderful and have always been there when I have phoned and our TV was not working and was replaced the same day... I would definitely recommend this property and homebase to anyone.

Enjoyed and learned so much from my short stay. Would come back and stay in the same or similar house, with another single lady who is too scared to try it on her own. It could be daunting but well worth an exploratory visit, even if traveling solo. I met new friends, played games, enjoyed nightly music, felt safe, energized, young.

We enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and comfortable. The location was quiet and easy access to shopping. We would definitely rent again.

Nice place to stay with extra room for working people with a desk in the back. The garbage disposal in the kitchen sink did not work and one of the kitchen stools is breaking at the base horizontal bars. It probably needs to be monkey glued.

Wonderful relaxing time in a spotlessly clean house. Daily trips to the pool in the golf cart, evening entertainment and variety of places to eat made it a nice experience. I feel the $150 cleaning charge was steep, so very easy to clean and we left it very clean. Also was disappointed at the unexpected additional charge of $139.20 VRBO fee. Maybe I didn’t read the fine print, but it was excessive.
